The King's Men Concert - from Byrd to the Beatles

Get ready to be serenaded by The King’s Men, the renowned a capella group of the Choral Scholars of The Choir of King’s College as they perform beautiful harmonies and timeless classics in the stunning setting of Ripon Cathedral. It’s a concert you won’t want to miss!

Formed of the Choral Scholars of the Choir of King’s College, Cambridge, we are excited to present an evening of close harmony from Byrd to the Beatles. Where first half showcases sacred polyphony, madrigals, and folk songs, the second half explores blues, jazz and pop genres.

The ensemble is an adjunct musical project to the daily chapel services and regular broadcasts of King’s College Choir. The Choral Scholars lead rehearsals during term time to deliver a busy season of performances in Cambridge and across the UK.

Every June the choir presents its flagship concert, Singing on the River, to thousands of people on the banks of the River Cam in front of our College Chapel. The group regularly records, delivers educational workshops, and tours as far as North America, Australia and China.
