Discover Ripon Twitter Hour

An online celebration of Ripon’s organisations, businesses and activities hits twitter on the evening of October 16th with #DiscoverRipon hour which will run from 8-9pm.

Twitters users can use the #DiscoverRipon to make contact with local businesses, tourist attractions, shops, places to eat, charities, voluntary organisations in fact any group in Ripon who wants to join in.

Online novices can book to join a social media workshop which runs in the Mayor's Parlour in the Town Hall from 7pm until the end of #DiscoverRipon hour at 9pm. Members of the Discover Ripon Hub will be on hand to help businesses and organisations get going with Twitter, make contact with other local groups, develop their social media presence online, or simply demonstrate how Twitter works as a marketing tool. This workshop is free of charge but booking is essential as places are limited.
