Ripon has a selection of car parks that offer a convenient place to park while you do your shopping or visit one of the tourist attractions in the City. The car parks in Ripon are Pay & Display and the prices start from £0.50 for 1 hour, £0.80 for 2 hours, up to £1.60 for 4 hours in the long stay car park which is situated off St Mary's Gate.

The Market Square has Pay & Display parking with a charge of 50p for 30 minutes and £1 for an hour.

To the West of the Market Place is the new development where you will find Booths supermarket, Argos and Fat Face. There is a large car park for easy access to the centre of Ripon shopping and attractions.

The car parks in Ripon are open 24 hours a day (Market Square closed on Thursdays before 6pm), and times and days vary as to when the charges apply.

There is free parking for Disabled badge holders and motorbikes.

Public Toilets are situated next to the Bus Station / Arcade car park, near the Cathedral on Minster Road, and just off the Market Square behind the Walkmans House.
