HELP Ripon and Rural (HADCA)

Befriending service update: Our volunteer befrienders offer regular telephone calls (during pandemic), however soon to return to one-to-one visits to clients’ homes, providing them with company and a friendly listening ear. The volunteers are matched with clients, taking into account mutual interests, so that both parties benefit from this social contact.

If the need arises, our friendly office team can also provide information and signposting. They can also refer you to other local local agencies who can offer you additional support.
Voluntary car driving service update: We are now working with a small team of volunteer drivers to offer transport to passengers without any other means to attend Covid-19 vaccinations and other essential health appointments.
