THIS YEAR ALONE UPSTAGE ACADEMY HAS PERFORMED GYS, HARROGATE THEATRE, RIPON RACECOURSE AND MUCH MORE! Upstage Academy strives to give young children in rural areas between the ages of 5 and 18 a unique opportunity for self-development. We have been running for two years now out of a desire to make fitness and fun more accessible to more kids. Our aim was, and still is, to provide a greater amount of opportunities for kids to develop their skills, confidence and ability, and in turn, realise the potential of their talents. By making physical activity fun, we hope to get more kids active and involved in a variety of fitness and performance activities. In our relatively short existence, we have continued to see the importance of our role grow and we still remain totally committed to developing this even further. Amongst the kids that we have come in contact with, we have taken huge pleasure in seeing so many of them improve their basic skills, grow in confidence, take on new challenges and push themselves beyond all previous limits. Most importantly however, we have taken greatest pleasure in putting smiles on faces and seeing kids enjoy doing what comes naturally to them…..being kids! Our wide range of experience and transferrable skills has allowed us to grow the business into as many different areas as possible and we have been able to establish a strong reputation in each of the strands that we cover. Our spread spans to schools, nurseries, out of school clubs, special needs establishments, local authorities, sporting organisations, health and fitness clubs and private individuals.
